A Shock Absorber Base Valve, also called a Foot Valve, is a critical component located at the bottom of a shock absorber's inner tube. It regulates hydraulic fluid flow between the inner working chamber and the outer reservoir during compression and rebound strokes, directly controlling the damping characteristics of the suspension system. Our powder metallurgy base valves are engineered to provide consistent, predictable damping performance throughout the component's service life.
We offer a wide range of material options including carbon steels (G35, G45, WCB, WCC, ISO 340-550), alloy and heat-resistant steels (G25CrMo4), stainless steels (CF8, CF8M, SUS304, 304L, 316, 316L), brass alloys (HPb59-1, C36000, C37710), aluminum bronze (C65500, C95600, C87500), and tin bronze (C83600, C84400, C86500). Our standard raw material specification is MPIF FC-0205 or FC-0208 iron-based powder. Custom material requirements are welcome.
